Project Launch - Week Beginning 19th October 2009

Throughout the week each class took part in a range of activities in order to learn about our 5 partner's countries.
Foundation and Key Stage 1 learnt about Spain.
Classes SG and BL learnt about Cyprus.
Classes JH and AD learnt about Portugal.
Class EH/TA learnt about Poland.
Class MW learnt about the Netherlands.
At the end of the week each class presented work in our whole school assembly about what they had learnt.
The finale of our launch was a spectacular Balloon release, where children, staff members and parents released over 500 balloons into the blue Laceby sky.
